Hi I did not build the console I brought it done well my wife did I do build pcs and have done for years and before Christmas was going to build one well give it a go lol

Anyway I have done all my research for when I started the build but I did not have to as I said my wife brought me one so that was a bonus.

So really all I want to do is build a backup as I kept reading about this on all the forums I have done everything as it shows to do online about backing up but it just keeps getting these errors

The micro sd that the RetroPie console come with was a 32gig so I had the same one indoors not the same make and I had a 64gig I have tried both with the same thing happening.

I have also tried 2 different card readers in my laptop.
I don’t get any errors on writing and reading so really not sure what’s going on

        Thanks again for replying

But did you install the image yourself? Retropie is free....

Point 5 of https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first - "Make sure you are using an official image, or have done a manual install yourself. We will not support 3rd party images."

Install an official image and we might be able to help you.

Scammers be scummy. All you need to do is to flash the RetroPie image from retropie.org.uk/download on your card and you should be good to go.

"They" are scammers who have ripped you off.

Well a Pi starter kit costs £46 and retropie is free. In fact, it's illegal to sell it. So sadly, 74 quid for not much. If you follow the first installation guide, you can get support because we will all know the software you have.

Maybe the price of controller(s) might offset the offense.

I thought Is was a good deal maybe I should have gone my route to begin with.
It came with about 9000 games 2 Controllers but I have seen they are only about £7 for 2 a power cable about £4 and the case which is about £4.50

I have priced one up for my son as he wants one now and it all comes to about £70 with everything in the uk

To be honest I would not want them horrible controllers anyway I use a PS3 one with mine I connected it up yesterday
