I'm on a Macbook Pro 2013 and i go to hit the download retropie for rasperry pi 2/3 because i have the pi 3 model B. It starts to download then slows down and just stops. I have tried it on multiple laptops and have even hooked up ethernet to my laptop and nothing works.

      Someone please help.

@xbazinga9x I just tested it and it downloaded in less than a minute on 75mbps. If it's still happening on multiple devices it sounds like a network issue either locally or on the WAN.

I thought that as well. Could the problem be i live in Canada and if so is there a way to fix that?

It's downloading for me just as I am typing this. I'm actually on a Macbook Pro 2013 as well and I am also in Canada! Talk about coincidence.

Maybe you can try another browser or perhaps reset your internet modem. I doubt the link to the download is culprit here.

@xbazinga9x Like @courtesybear said, you can try simple things first such as power cycling your router and/or modem. You could start a constant PING and then begin the download and see if your connection times out or if the download just stops for no reason. If it's multiple computers and cycling your modem/router(or sometimes cable box if the internet is fed through the cable box before it gets to to modem, like here with Comcast) didn't work you will probably need to contact the ISP.

              Cheers
