While I have everything mame/fba working the way I like, GnGeo-Pi appears to refuse to load up for me. I can play the same Neo Geo games in FBA but GnGeo does nothing, just throws up a black screen, no error messages and returns me to ES

Am I missing something here? Is there an issue with my GnGeo setup? I believe I have all the correct BIOS files in the neogeo.zip (which is in both the BIOS and roms/neogeo directories). Like I said, FBA appears to work perfectly.

You can find some BIOS details for gngeo here:
        http://smartretro.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=44

And obviously you need to check out the romset requirements

Please read the Docs before asking a new question.

Thanks Floob! Believe it or not, I had already come across that smartretro post by you earlier today while googling-about. my neogeo.zip should contain all of the required files. I even downloaded the uni-bios from that site linked on there and threw those in for an unsuccessful try.

As for the romset, I used the dat file provided on the wiki page to create this set actually. I would like to believe it is all correctly named and the checksums all match, according to clrmamepro.

Its not a huge deal, I just really wanted to try out the emulator alongside the three builds of FBA already on here.
