      @chaska04 Sorry, No Luck. I ran the command and re-installed then rebooted.

        @chaska04 Then try a complete uninstall then install again

        dpkg -P openssh-server
        apt-get install -y openssh-server

            @mitu It says the operation requires SuperUser Privilege.

              Add sudo before each command.

                    @mitu Uninstall.

                    dpkg: error processing package ssh
                    depending problems - not removing
                    Errors were encountered while processing:
                    openssh-server

                      Try this:

                      sudo apt-get -y purge  openssh-server
                      sudo apt-get -y install openssh-server
