I updated attract mode through the setup menu inside attract mode. It went through the normal downloading process with the scrolling text and all. Once it attempted to reboot itself I heard two sound effects and then black screen. I have tried pulling power, HDD, SD card, and restarting about 12 times now. Same result, two sound effects that sound like the hyperpie video is trying to load and then pure black screen. Can't get to command mode, can't get to emulationstation.

@rbaker I looked through the documentation, I searched the forum for something related to this and I couldn't find anything related to my specific problem. Also I'm really new to this so I don't quite know how to post my model but it's the newest raspberry, the newest retropie, and obviously the newest attract mode which is what crashed my system. Sorry about the noob speak.

@creampi78 You need to provide the information that is requested because at the moment you do not provide any. So, what image? You talk about a HDD - did you install it? Is it a purchased system? The list of requested items is essential.
