retropie loses key binding (2 players bartop)

I have a 2 players bartop both with zero delay pcb boards.
When i set up player one controls in retropie i have no problems.
After setting up player 2 controls the settings from player 1 gets messed up!Really annoying and i can't seem to find a way to fix this!
Plz help

Fixed by replugging the control buttons in the same order as player 1.

@darky2003 This is a common issue with USB encoders. They both need to be wired in the exact same way to prevent this. There are quite a few posts on the forum about the same issue.
