      Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to obtain a 64 bit version of retropie? there were some emulators im interested in using with retropie but the link they give us is the 32 bit version.

      Thanks in advance.

@rudeja I don't think there is a 64 bit version of the image, since it's based on Raspbian Lite and Raspbian itself does not provide such image for the Raspberry Pi. You can follow the instructions for manual install for other systems - i.e. Debian or Ubuntu - but there is no guarantee that is supported by the RetroPie script or even the emulators themselves.

@rudeja Hey. As @mitu says, you should try a built for Debian or Ubuntu. I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS x64 version. I installed RetroPie and all is working fine (PSX games, PS2 games, ...)

I doubt there would be any advantage of running on 64bit (aarch64) OS, in fact many emulators are likely to run slower as they have armv7/neon optimisations which wouldn't work on aarch64.
