    compiling daphne issue

      ok ive been updating the code for the joystick I want to just fix this emulator up a little nothing major just little tweaks. All well until i did a make clean and ./configure it just simply wont compile after make clean unless you do it it with

      sudo ./retropie_packages.sh daphne build

      to get the error
      got to the tmp/build/daphne/src/vldp2
      make clean
      ./configure
      make -f Makefile.rp
      cd ..
      ln -sf Makefile.vars.rp Makefile.vars
      make STATIC_VLDP=1

      this is exactly how the script installs it. I dont know what that script is setting up but i would like to. I can edit and compile and fix it that way would just be nice to know for future reference of how to do it if i come across env setting like that
