Hi everyone. I would like to overclock the GPU and memory without overclocking the CPU on my Pi3 and am hoping someone can tell me if this is possible, and if so how. My reasoning for this is I would like to achieve the same graphical and memory performance that I did with the officially supported overclock on my previous Pi2, without pushing the CPU too hard, since it's already 200 MHz faster then my overclock on the Pi2. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried just bumping the /boot/config.txt gpu_freq? The hard part is that if you need to overvolt, it's going to hit both the GPU and the processor (just a guess on my part, I know you can overvolt the RAM separately but I've never seen anyone doing the GPU separately). For the memory, you can bump sdram_freq.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I did SSH into the unit and used nano to analyze the contents of the config.txt file located at "/boot/config.txt" however none of the settings in there seemed relevant. The only overclock setting I could fine in there was for the "Arm" and it seemed as though the setting was meant for the first generation Pi board. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Wrong file location perhaps? Below is a link to a screenshot.
