I've been playing Pokemon Stadium 2 with my niece and nephew as they're big fans of Pokemon but have never really played any of the games. I should probably figure out how to use save states so if possible I can use one that has all the GB Pokemon transfered over. They've also been playing Pokemon Dungeon Fire Team Red. As for myself, a dose of LSD Dream Emulator and some Jet Set Radio to pass the time.

@dankcushions For it's time I'd have to agree. Eventhough there isn't much gameplay other than running around and bumping into walls, things can get pretty ominous the longer you go. Like the dreams where there's writing everywhere and pictures of Japanese girls all over the walls freak me out. Especially when it happens in the Murder District because that's where The Shadowman likes to strike.

Then you MUST play POP2. The best game ever made. It works w/ dosbox on my Pi. But there are reasonable ports on the following platforms too:

                    • Sega Megadrive (beta version, never officially released, downloadable from the internet!)
                    • SNES (misses the epic "Escher" finale).
                    • The game can also be unlocked in the Xbox NTSC version of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
                    • [edit 4-5-2016] Found out that the Mac version is 640 x 480 where as the Win version is 320 x 240. Will try to play this one on my Pi via this tutorial.

My roommate and i are trying to beat Stone Protectors for SNES. it is a beatemup that is based on a short lived straight to VHS cartoon that was Trolls geared toward boys. This is a gem i stumbled on. The combat system is pretty in depth. All the characters have unique move sets, animations, and special moves. You should really play this if yo havent already!

Really enjoying Ys Books 1&2 and Dynastic Hero on the PC-Engine Super CD. And when those two are finally completed, I'll start playing the Valis series.

I just defeated Mother Brain in the original NES Metroid!

I found and used images of the strategy guide from the Oct 1991 Nintendo Power magazine to beat it.

                                    Ended up with this ending:

Succeeded to get the Mac emulator BasiliskII working on my Pi to play Prince of Persia 2 - The Shadow and the Flame. The Mac version's graphics blow any other version completely away! If anybody would like me to I could explain in more detail how I succeeded to get it working. As for now see: this topic for screenshots to compare Prince2 versions on Mac, PC, SNES and Mega Drive (my post from 13-5-2016). And this topic about compiling and running BasiliskII on the Pi 1B.

Ha! By coincidence, I've been trying to get this exact game running without any luck. It says it needs to run in 256 colors, but I cannot get BasiliskII to switch or even boot into 256 colors. I am running the stock config without any changes as well as MacOS 7.5.5. I feel that getting this up and running would also help in any number of the other games that must run in 256 colors, so I would be most interested to hear your method.
