I'm experimenting with a script modification and while that part is working, mupen64plus is attempting to load a cheats database file called mupencheats.txt. If I run --help on another machine it does not attempt to load it. The instructions for that instance as well as the instance installed on my retropie found in the --help output both reference the cheats syntax that I am using. However, I am unable to locate any cfg file that tells mupen to look for mupencheats.txt.

in debugging, mupen outputs these two lines:
UI-Console Warning: cheat code database file 'mupencheat.txt' not found.
UI-Console Warning: no cheat codes found for ROM image 'THE LEGEND OF ZELDA'

is this function built into the binary from a custom source build or is there a cfg file I can use to ignore this file and go back to the original mupen syntax?
