I am looking for a longer Usb encoder to button cable (like this item, but longer, say 30-35cm) https://www.ebay.com/itm/10Pcs-Push-Button-Connection-Cable-For-Arcade-Game-NEW-FREE-SHIPPING-SET-LOT/222799542864?epid=4009923163&hash=item33dfe33a50:g:lloAAOSw8i9aXvNp
does anyone know where i can find them? I need a lot more wire (cant get the encoder close enough) for the cabinet layout i want.
thanks guys/gals -
@spider910 Doesnt answer your question but some ideas-You can just cut your own lengths and crimp on your own fittings and make your own. Or another way would be to wire those ones into a connector block close by the buttons/switches then running longer wires out of the block to the encoder.

Not sure which encoder you are using, so this is a shot in the dark. But can’t you locate the encoder closer to the buttons and then run a longer (USB?) cable to the PI?

@spider910 For my project, I simply made my own using Cat5 wiring. This allowed me to cut an exact length, kept everything nicely bundled inside the insulation, and made it very easy to know which wire was going where as opposed to everything black which would be a bit of a visual nightmare. I simply crimped on my own spade-type connectors to mate with the microswitches (most arcade parts sellers sell these in bulk, or easily found at hardware stores). The encoder end for me uses screw terminals (IPAC) so this was ideal, but I could have added header connectors too.
