On my 3B+ the power light just blinks and get a yellow voltage symbol in the top right and nothing happens.

You need to use the new Stretch image, still in beta, posted here. Any older images - or your existing image - will not work.

What is the recommended power supply size for the new B+?

Note that Raspberry Pi 3B+ does consume substantially more power than its predecessor. We strongly encourage you to use a high-quality 2.5A power supply, such as the official Raspberry Pi Universal Power Supply.

Ok, it was 2.5A previously? I guess they are stressing the quality part of that statement.

                        Hello everyone,

i have my pi 3 b+ working fine with retropie!

I´ve upgraded my retropie installation on the pi 3 to raspbian stretch with the following instructions:

                        https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/16145/retropie-upgrading-raspbian-jessie-to-stretch

after that, i put the sd-card in the new pi3 b+ and it looks like everything is working fine!
