Once I install the stretch beta on my new 3b+, once this is out of beta am I going to have to redo everything again? Or will it be as easy as updating packages in the interface? I love my existing set up on Jessie with my 3b and am not looking forward to this.

Thank you very much in advance!

When moving to Stretch for the first time, flashing a fresh image is recommended. This will leave you with a clean install without any of your previous additions. However, updating your existing Jessie installation is possible using this method. If you do choose the latter, I would make a backup image beforehand just to be safe.

Once you start on the base stretch image it's just as simple as updating from the setup script. You shouldn't need to reflash as I don't anticipate any major changes before an official release
