Screensaver behavior

Interesting issue - not sure why this is happening but it happens on my 3B and 3B+. I think it might be a video quality thing (HD vs SD) but I'm not positive so thought I'd ask. :)
Everything is updated. I backed up my card and told Setup to update ALL installed modules just to be sure.
The 3B is on 4.3 and the 3B+ is on 4.3.17.
Here's the issue: My screensaver will play system videos but not MAME when set to OMX Player ON - I get a blank screen for those 32 seconds. When I turn off the OMX Player I get MAME videos but everything plays blurred and crappy.
This is bugging the hell out of me. I am 3 seconds away from deleting the entire mame-libretro/images folder and doing a re-scrape.

I think there's a known issue with OMX and videos scraped from the arcadeitalia.net site - they're incompatible - https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/12210/neo-geo-and-arcade-not-showing-video-previews-steven-selph-scraper . You could try to re-encode them using Handbrake and see if you get better results.

I have a sub to emumovies.com. I wonder if I can overwrite their files to my card. I'll have to check the file names.
