Been trying to compile lr-mess on a Pi 3B, as the title suggests it failed. All i saw was a log message at the end and the system completly froze.

Now i am trying to find the log(file) to see what went wrong, but i can't seem to find the correct file. Anyone can point me out in the right direction? Also would like to know in what directory the source is stored as i just wasted about 2 GB of space.

@shadowron Looks like you might have run out of memory. The downloaded source should be in /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/tmp/build, you can clear the space by deleting the lr-mess build folder.

@mitu Thanks for the reply. I just found it by myself. Any idea where to find the log of the build/compile process?

@shadowron The logs are stored under the /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/logs, take the latest archive and look into it.

@mitu Log seems corrupted. 16KB archive with a 3.6GB logfile inside it. Extracting gives an end-of-archive error.

Thanks again for the quick reply.

@shadowron If the OOM kicked in and the system crashed, then I'd say it's normal the log is corrupted.
