      Pi Model or other hardware: 3 plus
      Power Supply used: official UK 5.1v 2.5a
      RetroPie Version Used the stretch image
      Built from sd I made via etcher with the stretch Image
      USB Devices connected:usb drive
      Controller used: new ps3 ps4 and keyboard
      Emulator: nes megadrive

      Basicly everything is Smooth sailing as it should be I connect new pad ps3 ps4 and keyboard they all set up via config I can navigate with them all but my controller then won't work when on the roms any help lads please all the video watched and a bible are with the pi3 not pi3plus

        @bigbugz420 How are you connecting the keyboard and controllers ? There are detailed info on how to connect PS3/PS4 controllers in the docs

          An USB keyboard should work out-of-the-box, but if it's Bluetooth you need to pair it manually via bluetoothctl in the command line.

          @mitu usb mate like I said they all work for navigating and typing etc just not on the roms

            @bigbugz420 Enable verbose logging in Runcommand (https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Runcommand/#configuring-runcommand) and then get the log file from /dev/shm/runcommand.log after launching a ROM and not being able to control it with the controller.
            Paste the file's contents at pastebin.com and then show us the link.
            You still didn't say how are you connecting the controllers - is it bluetooth or USB ?
