      Hi everyone,

Im building my second arcade machine - upgrading from a single player with trackball to a 4 player with trackball, light gun, push/pull spinner etc. A big job but achievable with my Pi3 and a little help from Ultimarc! Anyway, much of interest lies with classic arcade games and as such - due to the controls I use - I use advancemame as opposed to the other mame emulators.

I also use RGBCommander for the LED buttons and another reason to use AdvanceMame is that it uses a unique process ID - meaning I can change the colours of my butttons between Libretro Emulators and Mame, which is cool.

Now it appears we have a choice in terms of front end but, from what Ive read, Emulation Station is still the best bet for me as support for AdvanceMame is poor in AttractMode - does anyone have experience of using Advancemame and attractmode? Does it work? Or does anyone know of other versions of Mame in Retropie that have equally good support of HiD devices?

      Cheers

      Mark

Not true I only run AdvanceMAME and Daphne on my Rpi3 with AM and it runs perfectly, maybe a little quicker than ES to load games and return to the display.
Another Nice thing about AM is you can run a combined list and only have one dispaly rather than multiples for different emulators.
