Subfolder videopreview and art

Hey guys! Sorry if this has been covered before. I’m on retropie 4.4, emulationstation. I don’t have the computer savvy to create a menu in a specific theme for hacks. Instead I am creating subfolders in current systems (ex: nes will have a ‘nesh’ Subfolder) the games work fine but I can’t get video snaps or artwork to work. The video snaps work fine for nes, but the subfolder won’t show.
Any suggestions?
