      Hello Everyone,

      I am having a problem with the latest retropie-4.4-rpi2_rpi3.img. I am using Windows 10 and Win32diskimager v1.0
I am able to write the image to my SDCARD succesfully without errors. I am able to do the initial bootup and configure my system. Whenever I shutdown the system, I can no longer boot as I just get a black screen and LED on the SDCARD port blinks green. I am able to read the SDCARD in my PC still. If I reboot I then it is fine only when I do a shutdown I'm unable to boot again. I waited for 5 minutes to make sure that the system have enough time to write everythign before I powered off my RPI3B+. I used teh latest NOOB v2.70 and I do not get the error as I tried shutting off in the OS and othe rplaces to see if my SDCARD gets corrupted but it does not and I'm able to bootup everytime. I have tried 3 SDCARDs with teh Retropie image and they are getting teh same problems. These are genuine SDCARD from Sandisk and Samsung. I am able to install Raspian and put on the Retorpie manually and I do not get teh SDCARD corruption if I completely shut it down. I'm not sure if teh image is bad or the WIN32DiskImager is bad. Anyone experienced this issue?

@kublai Try etcher on the file without unzipping it.

Unfortunately I'm having the same problem with Etcher. I did a MD5 verify on the retropie-4.4-rpi2_rpi3.img.gz file and it matches.
