      Pi 3b+
      Retropie 4.4
      Official Pi power supply
      Snes usb gamepad

Trying to setup game & watch on a new image so everything is stock no custom scripts. The game loads no problem but when you go to play there is video & input lag.
I have a premade image the same roms work fine on, I have gone through the setting on that image to compare them to mine but couldn't notice any difference.
The one thing i did notice is when you press start & the gamepad image showing the buttons pops up, underneath it say Madricals Simulators Libretro port. The same rom on the premade image does not show this text. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Any help with this would be much appreciated as i have look everywhere for an answer.

I also noticed at the bottom of the Retroarch menu my image says Game & Watch 1.6.3 but the premade image says Game & Watch 1.1 .
Any ideas on what i need to do to get this working properly. I had donkey kong 2 as a kid so it would be great to get i working on my own image.
