New here and new to working with Raspberry Pi's so I'm sure I'll be making many simple mistakes. First one I have ran into is that when I downloaded the Retropie file for the Raspberry 1, I extract it using winrar (also tried 7-zip) and the img file shows on my computer (running WINDOWS 10) as just a file folder. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

@zamwiesel use etcher. Doesn't require extraction

@herb_fargus Thank you. I will google that and see if it will do the trick. Update: That seems to have done the trick. On to the next stage.
