UAE4ALL commandline options and documentation
-
Hi.
I am using retropie 3.6 SD image and was quite pleased to find that UAE4ALL was able to run pretty well. Now I'm trying to make it possible to select a game from the emulation station. I've read several Places that UAE4ALL should accept commandline switches, but I have not been able to find any documentation as to what these switches are. A thought just occured to me, are they the same as for winuae?
Another question is: as I have quite a few extra buttons on my controller, is it possible to map any of these to exit UAE, make left/right mouse button presses etc? -
I can confirm that -f configfile Works. this ofcourse requires a game to have a config file first, for now I'll just create it manually, edit it with emacs, and change use_gui=yes to use_gui=no. A tiny bit tedious perhaps, but I don't expect to experiment much with the games.
Now I just need to find out if the controller can be used to exit UAE4ARM Again. -
hello there Irondad
emulation of amiga is a top priority for me, i simply love this machine. im very happy uae4arm emulate it so well. allready prepared some hdf files (with whdl games) which are working very well.
for some time im trying to figure it out how to use this command line (-f). i did so much different things (including manualy creation of .sh file) and none of it seems to work (im using retropie 3.6 on rpi3b2). all the time uae4arm starts with a gui and default setting and thats it. can you please give me kind of "step-by-step" tutorial ? or at least some clues ;) i'll be much gratefullregards
ps
also i was thinking about this "exit" problem with uae4arm. as far as i know you enter gui by clicking "left ctrl" and then you can exit program with "Q". meaby theres a way to bind somehow those two buttons (left ctrl+Q) into one button on the joypad (or at least one of them as "start" and other as "select")? it would solve the problem.anyway, looking forward for "mastering" amiga emulation on retropie ;)
cheersps ps
sprry about my bad english
