      Hatari v2.1 was released on February this year, and I've noticed that Retropie still uses old version 1.9 which dates back to 2015. V 2.0 has brought improvements for Falcon & TT, and also Mega STE emulation was added. V 2.1 brings fixes for reading some STX disk images and major rewrite to the sound chip emulation. Any chance to get updated version of Hatari in the RetroPie installation?
