Problem in new version of RETRO PIE and how to solve it.

Hi dear's
Today i updated my retropie to new version and copy all my games to SD card - and i faced with problem. Soma games for SEGA MEGA DRIVE not loading and waiting in black screen.

After 2 hour i found a problem - please look last logs.

lvl2: req sound [detailed.launch]
lvl2: (missing)
lvl2: Attempting to launch game...
lvl2: /opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh 0 SYS megadrive /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/megadrive/Ariel\ the\ Little\ Mermaid . md
lvl2: Creating surface...
lvl2: Created window successfully.

Emulator can't found a game becasue game name is Ariel the Little Mermaid (has a SPACE)
for solving you can rename all your games to Ariel_the_Little_Mermaid

Maybe it will help someone.

The problem is that you have a space before extention of the file (md).

@mitu And why is the extension then visisble? I think it's a kind of forum formating error ;)

I think the error lies in es_systems and there are some quotation marks missing.
If he uses underscores to "fix" the name then it doesn't matter if the rom is executed with ... ".../my_rom.extension" or if it's simple .../my_rom.extension

you see the error in the escaped spaces ;)

No - i added space after extension because this forum saw it as URL. Mermaid.md
