Just gotta throw this out there as someone that played a whole lot of Descent and Descent 2 when I was a kid. This remake engine shows me what the designers truly wanted Descent to play like with silky smooth framerates and super precise ship handling. Excellent work. Always glad to see a group of people that liked something so much they want to make it better and bring it to a new generation of players.

I was pleasantly surprised too by the quality of the DXX-Rebirth engine for Descent 1 and 2.

The games run smoothly at high resolutions, have colored lighting, filtering modes. I just wish that the RPI hardware supported Anisotropi filtering, as that option cant be enabled currently.

By the way if you like descent, make sure to check out "Overload" on Steam, its a game made by the same developers as the original descent games, and the graphics look very nice! All those particles and lights using the Unreal Engine 4 make it worth a look!

        Happy gaming old fellows
