      @polygaryd Thanks for the info! You might also want to add that demos go into "/opt/retropie/configs/ports/descent*/demos". So if you want the original prerecorded demo(s) ported as well, you should copy them to this directory.

      I was pleasantly surprised too by the quality of the DXX-Rebirth engine for Descent 1 and 2.

      The games run smoothly at high resolutions, have colored lighting, filtering modes. I just wish that the RPI hardware supported Anisotropi filtering, as that option cant be enabled currently.

      By the way if you like descent, make sure to check out "Overload" on Steam, its a game made by the same developers as the original descent games, and the graphics look very nice! All those particles and lights using the Unreal Engine 4 make it worth a look!
