      Hi all, any ideas how to stop the raspberry pi flashing icon every time it reads my SD card (well i think its that) it so annoying when playing games.

        @mat03111984 you need a better power supply.

              @RetroResolution well ive ordered a official psu so hopefully this should fix the issues. however i was using a 2amp charger which from what ive read seems enough...

                @mat03111984 Are you using a Pi 2? Not all usb psu's are of the same quality, so hopefully your new supply will resolve the issues.

                Just another thought, do you have many usb devices connected, or one or more devices that have a high power drain (2.5" hard disk, or a wireless or bluetooth adaptor, for example?)

                There is a config setting to allow the Pi 2 to pull 1.2a max via usb, rather than the 600ma which is the default. On a Pi 3 the usb ports can supply the higher amperage by default.

                  Hi thanks for the info, i got the official power supply and everything seems good now,no flashing box. ive got the pi3 btw
