@mediamogul as soon as i went to 4.4 with the new retroarch. Acts the same when i stuck lr-mame2010 from jessie on 4.4. Thats at least when I noticed. I dont have jessie anymore to test.

You guys don't ever get to rest do you? Are you planning on starting an issue, or would you like me to?

I'm at the beginning of a multiday road trip. If you're willing to create the issue then I would be grateful :) This thread caught my attention because there was this one time when I unknowingly screwed up sample support in mame2003 and I wanted to make sure history was not repeatin.

Not a problem. It's late here now, but I'll write it up in the morning.

I'm taking for granted that I fully understand this situation. Can you confirm that both games lock up in lr-mame2003 and lr-mame2010? Also, do the audio issues exist in both cores for both games?

I stumbled across a RetroPie arcade install, looking for similar or good starting point before I sat down and tried it myself, that has been done to include ONLY working ROMS from MAME, FBA and NEOGEO. Its a full install, ready to copy over and using MAME2010. You have to compile thsi from the optional menu and takes forever to compile. So far, every game I've tried has worked includings ones that wouldn't with my previous attempts trying to et MAMe ROMs to work and guessing which ones work or are non-working clones

Its a 12.5GB total set, but it solved my headaches of arcade ROMs and what does or doesn't work in one go

Search for [deleted], thats all I'm suggesting

This is the info from the links :

*Final version. All roms and all media.

Here is my all inclusive arcade set. It combines mame2010, mame2003, and fbalpha in the arcade folder with best version of each game picked out.

No clones, (except a couple I put in), no mahjong, no mature, no quiz, only trackball, racing, and light gun games that can be controller with a controller or joystick. 2 player and 4 player versions where available.

Neogeo is together with the mame stuff. All goes in the arcade folder.*

I'm not direct linking, just suggesting a search name so I'm guessing its allowed ??

You're breaking the forum rules, please don't post references to ROMs/copyrighted material.
