Good morning hope all of you had a great weekend hard to believe today's Sunday.
I own a Pi3 B, i am having so much trouble figuring out how to setup the controls
for systems, i have googled and youtube'd an answer. I've lucked up setting my
NES, GBA & SNES. i have tried so many different things, i am trying to config controls
for the Genesis/Mega Drive i have indivual controllers for systems,i have a 6 button usb
genesis/saturn styled controller. and it's too confusing I must have done something wrong
      and it's sat up like

Auto 2 (N/A) (key Z) and have no clue what anything means out of this, only thing works are the D-pad UDLR
buttons. and few other buttons, automaticly when i sat the pi3 up. been trying so long to get this to work
the emulator it's running off of, is the PicoDrive 1.92 I still have CPS, MAME, Neo Geo and a few others.
Sorry if this was posted already, really want to get an answer, i got my 5 year old daughter into old school
gaming, and she's like "Daddy, Daddy, is it working now?" everytime i am near a TV or PC. and i don't blame
here i want to game old school 16-bit style with her.. : ( Because i tell her not to worry about anything because
i was going to get things to work, and we both scanned everywhere we can go to get an answer.

Thanks in advance sorry for the sloppy posting, i am on my galaxy at work waiting for the doors to open,
this is the only little time i have to respond (working 7 days a week for 4 months now) Again i applogize
      about my post visually.

@oldschool84 just remap your controller in emulation station. Press start and the option to remap should be there. Once you have mapped your controller once it will be set for all libretro emulators. You don't need to configure it for each system.

@oldschool84 I'm not sure I understand exactly what your issue is. Are you trying to configure an N64 controller?
