Just got my pi 3 gaming set up from amazon came with retro pi on a Sd card so I hooked it up booted retro pi and hooked up my controller. I downloaded the drives/ whatever it was called in the menu then pressed update tab to update everything. And it gave it some time. It just stoped at a long command line so I hit select on my controller (my hot key) and it put some characters so I hit more buttons trying to escape the menu after putting in two lines of gibberish I flipped the power switch on my pi’s cord and now it won’t reconize any of the 3 new controllers I had hooked up before.

@pi-mouse We don't support 3rd party images, please install the RetroPie image from retropie.org.uk/download and re-configure your controllers.

Im pretty sure it’s the same image just came preinstalled. I would delete and re install it by my computer barely runs and won’t let me download from that Link as I tried to download from here already.
