I've just seen these are being made now.

I'd be keen to try that when its in stock. A wireless original MD controller could be far better than those AT games based ones etc...

@floob These aren't wireless, but I've had a solid experience with them. I wonder if they're close enough in construction for the mod to work on them too.

wow that looks like a very close reproduction. I'd love to have an original zip stick and turn that into a wireless joystick. But then I suppose its only good for atari, spectrum and amiga games...

I'm still waiting on new 'original' Mega drive / Saturn controllers (wireless and wired). Officially licensed, made by Retro-Bit, but high quality like the original controllers. Should be in stores within 6 months.

I got the 8bitdo board and fit it in a faulty MK-1653 controller that I had. The controller works fine, it's a bit strange without the cable on as it feels a lot lighter as result. Main problem is that the charging cable provided wouldn't fit in the port far enough to charge it. I had to mod another micro usb to get it charging.

I really like the blue Genesis/Megadrive controller they're going to release.

@kleenax Could you please remove @BobHarris' pictures in your post? :) It's a little inconvenient for others to have to scroll over them again. You can edit your posts via the three little bars at the right side of the posts.
