I'm really into shooter games and have been using a PS1 ASCiiWARE for awhile and want to upgrade to something of higher quality.

Has anyone ever tried the an Eightarc (I'm looking at the Fusion) with Retropie? They look great. I just want to make sure it'll work, before I shell out the money for one. I can't see why it wouldn't work, but I'm not really seeing much info on it, other than someone having issues getting it to work.

Also, any other recommendations for a solid arcade stick would be appreciated.

Can you point me to where you read about this person having trouble? I've been studying how to adapt unconventional controllers to be usable with RetroPie and I might have some insight into the viability of this.

It was in the older forum. Found it on a random Google search.

Not sure why they had an issue, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. You can set them to run is Xbox, ps3, or pc. As long as you can map it, should be good. Just want to see if anyone else has confirmed it works, before I shell out $180 for one.

Or if someone can recommend another one that would be great. Was thinking of building one, but I don't really want to go through all this, if I can just plug one in, map it and be done.

I would be greatly surprised if you couldn't get it working.
