      So I have looked up many times on trying to fix this issue. I am pretty much at a wall now. I have tried everything google and yahoo have had as "Answers" and i finally decided to post here. I purchased two EG STARTS American Style Arcade Competition 2Pin Joystick Black Switchable from 8 Ways Operation, Elliptical Black Handle, Precision 8-Way 187" (4.8mm) Terminal. My problem is now after installing everything for my cabinet up-left and down-left on the joystick does not work. I ran jstest on both of them. What i am seeing is when they go into up-left and down-left (Yes both micro-switches are engaged, i did it by hand as well) the jstest registers a :0. Up, Down, Left, Right, Up-Right, Down-Right all work as needed. I am assuming that since they are on the same axis, when they are being pressed into top-left and bottom-left position they override each other and nothing works. I will explain the jstest a little more in case I have misconstrued anything;
      Up: 0: 0 1: -32767
      Down: 0: 32767 1: 0
      Left: 0: 0 1: 32767
      Right: 0: -32767 1: 0
      Up-Right: 0: -32767 1: -32767
      Down-Right: 0: 0 1: 0
      Up-Left: 0: 0 1: 0
      Down-Left: 0: 32767 1: 32767

      So as mentioned before it appears to me since they are on the same axis when trying to engage up-left down-right they are being overridden and register as 0.

        @simotsu I figured it out... After reading this forum a little bit I found that I had it wired incorrectly. So off to the races now!
