Hi All. First time Retropie user. I've managed to get RetroPie 3.6 running on a new Pi v3.
Firstly, I have never done any coding on a Pi before so am a complete noob. Whilst I have been able to get RP up and running OK, I have no idea how to make changes to "/boot/cmdline.txt" to configure my xin-mo usb board as per the instructions found here: https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Xin-Mo-Controller

Secondly, I have suddenly lost connectivity with the Pi on my network (Windows PC) I have previously clicked on network and the Pi is there to open and transfer the ROM files, but now I cannot access it, even via IP address, it keeps saying "refused to connect".

Any help on the above would be greatly appreciated.

        Hi All.

I have been able to resolve my xin-mo issue, but I still face the issue of my network not seeing or connecting to my Raspberry Pi. I've checked cables, router and all seems in order. LAN lights are on, on the PI but I just cannot connect. Does it need to be in a certain screen or state in order to connect?
