Thinking of renaming the image folders deleting the gamelist and rescraping. Might need to to borrow a 100mb connection but my last option to be honest

I think sselph's scraper doesn't scrape anything (more) for a game that's already in the gamelist.xml. Furthermore, it doesn't scrape images or videos that already exists, but it uses them for newly-scraped games.

So, it should suffice if you delete or rename the gamelist.xml to re-scrape all games. If you don't delete the image folders, sselph's scraper will use the existing images and videos, and you save the download time for them.

I just remembered that you only have to set the option "Gamelist" to "overwrite" in sselphs scraper menu to create a completely new gamelist.xml. No need to delete it yourself in advance.

@clyde So I would just need to remove theimages folder and re-scrape?

@hiulit No, quite the opposite. Remove/rename the gamelist.xml for that system or select "Gamelist" to "overwrite" in sselph's scraper menu. You only need to remove the images folder if you want to scrape all the existing images/videos again (e.g. in hope of better ones).

edit: Explanation: Sselph's scraper doesn't scrape any game that's already in the gamelist.xml, but if it does scrape a game, it will take into account all existing images and videos, and not download them again. So, if you only want to re-scrape one game, you'll have to remove it from the gamelist.xml. If you want to re-scrape all games of that system, you'll have to remove the whole gamelist.xml. edit 2: But any existing resource in images won't be scraped again.

Whew, putting one's knowledge into intelligible words can be taxing. ;)

The issue with not downloading videos seems to be happening when having the option Console Source set to thegamesgb. I changed it to *ScreenScraper and it downloaded videos.
