I just went into retropie_setup.sh and updated the script from a fresh install, now I get the following:

      pi@retropie:~/RetroPie-Setup $ sudo ./retropie_setup.sh
/home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/scriptmodules/packages.sh: line 277: source: /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/scriptmodules/supplementary/scraper.sh: cannot execute binary file
Module /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/scriptmodules/supplementary/scraper.sh is missing valid rp_module_id
Module /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/scriptmodules/supplementary/scraper.sh is missing valid rp_module_desc

This is on a Pi version 1.

I'm not sure. What should it look like?

            https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/blob/master/scriptmodules/supplementary/scraper.sh

have you edited any files ? Make sure they contain Unix LF line endings and not CRLF (Windows/DOS)

No I didn't touch anything. Like I said, fresh install. I only ran the update from inside the script.

Ok, looked at what you have there and what is in the file. It looks like the scraper I have there has been truncated. I'll replace it with the one from github and try it

try just doing git reset --hard in the RetroPie-Setup folder

Ok, updated. It looks like it's working now, I'm a little concerned that it chipped off all the lines after the first if and put a line of @@@@@@ in there.
