Scraped psp not working.
-
Hi.
I have scraped the psp roms with screenscraper and placed the images in the correct place on the external drive. This works fine for other systems but not for psp.
Scraped one rom in emulation station itself and it keeps the info. I think the location is scraped to the sd card and not to the external drive for psp.
Where can I find the config file where these paths are designated? Maybe I can manually change it to use the gamelist.xml and images that are on the external drive.
Thanks.

Emulationstation first considers the
gamelist.xml
present in the ROM folder, then the one in~/.emulationstation/gamelists/<SYSTEM>
. You can't change where the gamelist is located. -
Thanks. I will check if the one scrape is stored there.
If the gamelist is stored there I can copy the external gamelist.xml to the sd source you mentioned and it should work again.
But not if there is a gamelist in the rom directory.
Yes if it is like you mentioned I can fix this. Jumble some gamelists around and it will grab the external one again.

Thanks again.
There was a gamelist.xml file inside the rom directory. The gamelist on the sd card was the same as on the external drive. So it seems emulation station copies all the gamelists to from the external drive to the gamelists on the sd card when restarting. This probably for quicker access.
I understand why this is. There is probably no write access to the gamelists on the sd card if the roms are placed on the sd card too. So most people just copy the gamelist.xml in the roms directory or just use the internal scraper which has root access. Since I used an external scraper some gamelists got mixed up.

The internal scraper doesn't have root access. Glad you fixed your problem !
