How To Count To 10
-
There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who can count in binary and those who can not.
-
@Lurker 10? I think that number is a bit off.

@Lurker 10: 2 bits. 1 on 1 off...

I am afraid that you are in the second group my friend.(edited It was I the dunce and I shall let my shame stand for all to mock)You are correct but numerical representation of binary (base 2) next to base 10 (standard) counting proceeds as follows... Hell I'll through in hexadecimal (base 16) as well, in case it comes up.
0 - 0 - 0
1 - 1 - 1
2 - 10 - 2
3 - 11 - 3
4 - 100 - 4
5 - 101 - 5
6 - 110 - 6
7 - 111 - 7
8 - 1000 - 8
9 - 1001 - 9
10 -1010 - A
11 - 1011 - B
12 - 1100 - C
13 - 1101 - D
14 - 1110 - E
15 - 1111 - FSide fun fact the reason many numbers around computers stop at 255 is because the binary of 255 is 11111111 a full bite or FF.
-
@Lurker You didn't get it.
1 - 1 bit on
0 - 1 bit off -
Here I will try it again.
eh Hem
There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who can count in binary and those who can not.
To which you reply "But the Hexadecimal people would like to know who the other 14 are?"
Get it? eh eh?
@mitu nope I don't ............ ahhhh I see what you did there.
slow clap My hats off to you. and @edmaul69
