@MisterMints On my friend's card, in his config.txt, I simply put everything to stock.

total_mem=1024
arm_freq=1200
gpu_freq=400
core_freq=400
sdram_freq=450

That is for a Pi 3 only. I didn't do any overclocking, I simply left them at stock.
If you are getting overheating/temperature icon, perhaps use the settings above - but with slightly lower settings ?
If you want to undervolt you can use "over_voltage", despite it's name it will undervolt.

-16 (0.8v) to +8 (1.4v) in 0.025V steps. So, a -16 will give you 0.8V, while +8 will give you 1.4V.

over_voltage=-16
For min voltage.

to

over_voltage=8

For max voltage. Obviously, stock would be over_voltage=0, so maybe work down from there. Perhaps look at a couple of Pi heatsinks ?

Thanks @John_RM_70 I'll take a look, but I'm getting other issues now too, and as this is a thread to talk about the MegaDrive case I'm going to start a new one over in the Help pages rather than clogging this one up with my problems.

I will say I did notice something today that I was't too crazy about. The location of the LAN port and additional USBs is clever as could be but it is really annoying trying the get the cable out. Oh well though. I only direct connect my Retropies to my network for initial configuration.

Still love the heck out the case and the controller.

@simpleethat there is a litte piece of plastic which you can take out to put the cable through and put the lid back on - this is the best case from Retroflag so far for me (had them all).

While that's true, that piece is annoyingly close to the connector, eg. none of the Ethernet cables I have at home can bend enough to make it possible to get it through there! I think I may have to buy a flat Ethernet cable just for pi because of that.

@Silent Then I guess I was lucky ;-) And with the new Raspi 3 B+ I got the Wifi is pretty good so I ditched the cable after few trial runs... (a new cable would be cheaper than a new raspi though ...)
Maybe there'll be a MEGAPi+ case revision one day...

I wish I could use that, but the WiFi AP I have closest to the Pi is 2.4GHz only and I need 5GHz for sensible streaming.

Oh well, so far it's just standing with this lid removed, and I'll fix that up when I get a new cable. Other than that, I absolutely love this case! The only issue I noticed is that with fan off (I upgraded it with a fan control PCB) Pi gets really hot in there. No wonder they recommend a fan.

Do you have a fan you can recommend? The cheap one I got is so noisy that I ripped it out the same day I bought it ;-)

@Anthrax Sadly I also have a cheap one but I got this fan control PCB so now it only runs when it really needs to:

I also want to find something better, since the one I have is a) noisy b) doesn't work with PWM speed control, so instead of slowing down it starts buzzing. I think I'll get the fan the guy who made this PCB is using for his tests, that is:
