XROAR Color Computer - Saving and loading cassette files

I am new to xroar and fairly new to Retropie. I have xroar running and can get into Tandy's Extended Color Basic. I was writing a test program in basic and used CSAVE "TEST" to save the file. I then exited xroar and tried using CLOAD "TEST" the next time to load my test program. All it shows was the blank screen with the "S" in the upper left corner. Not sure what I am doing wrong here. Do I need to "Rewind" the cassette before searching for my "TEST" program? I have used VCC and MESS to emulate the Color Computer 3 and was able to save and load cassette files. Just not sure if xroar is a little different.

Also, as a side note, I have set up all my other emulators on Retropie and they are crystal clear, but xroar looks blurry in comparison. I'm wondering if this may be another setting I need to adjust?
