Screensaver and genesis system videos

Hello all! First off, running retropie 4.4 with oxm on for videos on a 3 B+. My genesis snaps play fine within the Genesis section, they just never come up as Screensavers. I've pressed right on my joystick to keep going thru random videos and every system shows up...except for genesis. Even 32x, master system, Sega cd, everything but the Genesis.
Is this a bug or is there something I should tweak to get them to appear?
