Turn on retropie with Xbox 360 controller

Hi I would know if it could be possible to turn on Retropie with a wireless xbox controller like on xbox console

not without some custom hardware to switch the power on/off on the rpi. You can't trigger a power on from usb devices - only from turning the power on/off.

Maybe it could instead of powering off go into some sort of sleep mode? You also may be able to hack the LED ring from a broken 360 to control the power in.

Have it exit emulationstaion and just run a check for controller input over and over until it got something, maybe then check if it is a specific button(ex. home button)?
