Retropie Dont Start

I'm having trouble starting Retropie. It shows the home screen, but then shows a text screen, after a while, it restarts!
I am using an 8GB SD Class 10 and original source -
On first start, RetroPie will resize the filesystem on the SD card and then restart, so it's normal.
The subsequent restarts should start automatically the Emulationstation frontend, after displaying the boot text messages. Does your PI always restart ? Did you leave it to restart by itself the 1st time it boots ?
