Someone I know recently updated their os for Retropie to 4.4.4 and said that there no longer appears to be an option to install lr-freeintv in manage optional packages. Just wondering if anyone can tell me if that is because it is no longer being supported by Retropie or if maybe it has been moved to another package section. I myself have two devices, one with 4.4.3 and the other with 4.4.3. I have lr-freeintv installed on both and as much as I know that I should keep the software up to date, am wondering if this will affect my Retropies and the Intellivision roms that I use with it.

@melbmatt50 Did you test on your installation ? If it's still available in the list of packages, then it's not removed. For the record, it's not removed, that 'someone' is probably not paying attention or it's not using RetroPie.

I have 4.4.2 so I have a different version from him. For me it is definitely no.224 in Manage Optional Packages. I am not sure as I said if, it has changed to another menu such as either main or experimental or if it has just been removed altogether. It works fine for me, but this person just cannot find the listed item anywhere in that list. They said no.224 was Gameboy Color. I haven't updated to that version yet, because if for some reason it has been removed from that version of Retropie I don't want if affecting my lr-freeintv which I have installed for my Intellivision roms.

@melbmatt50 Again, the package has not been removed from RetroPie, it's still in the optional packages section.
