EmulationStation v2.7.6RP destroyed my RetroPie
-
Hello.
Several days ago I performed full update of my RetroPie on the Raspberry Pi 3.
Surprisingly, after that - I lost screen at all, it's only black, there are some errors / bugs visible sometimes too. Here is the photo of the screen.

Can anybody suggest what can I do to remove the Retropie error?
Regards. -
@johny8 Can you please add some more info about your system, as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first ?
What resolution and theme were you using ? -
Hi,
just a short information for future readers. I managed to find what they did with the update - originally I had set up the graphic memory for 256 and the update has changed it by itself, in a very pointless and harming way - into 64.
So there was no enough RAM to display the menu.
I found it and changed back into 256 - all works just fine again.
Some steps of the developers really seem like a sabotage.
Good luck for other users. HNY. -
@johny8 How did you determine that ? You claim is rather ridiculous. 'Sabotage' ?
