Game freezing issue.
-
I recently had a problem with my PlayStation One game freezing mid-game, the specific game was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1, what was weird is that it froze for maybe about 10 minutes then randomly started playing again but my Bluetooth controller wasn't able to control anything on the game and became useless. The light on my Bluetooth PlayStation 3 controller will still on like it was still connected but it was not working at all. I was wondering if anybody else had a situation similar to this or any ideas on how to Baby resolve it.

Looks like a under-voltage/underclock issue. Did you overclock your PI ? Do you a have a stable power source (i.e. no under-voltage warnings) ?
Please add more info about your system as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. -
I haven't overclocked it and i'm not sure how to as i'm new to all of this. I'm not sure if it has or hasnt been because I got the Pi from a website and it was already assembled with games already on it, the website was called "Game Box Hero." I haven't had any voltage warnings or anything nor have I had any problems with other games from other emulators. I'm pretty sure it's a Raspberry Pi 3 at least because it has bluetooth and WiFi.

@Dustin_3487 In this case we don't know how it was configured. Furthermore, we don't support 3rd party images and shady vendors that sell systems with RetroPie preloaded.This is clearly stated in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first and the forum rules.
If you wish to get support in the forums, please use the image from retropie.org.uk/download and see if you get the same problems. -
@mitu
The place had a lot of business and good reviews which is why i bought from them, like i said i'm new to this and not everyone is good at setting up all this from the ground up. Some people, or maybe just me, want something already set up to save the hassle. I figured raspberry pi is raspberry pi, i dont know about images or all of that but i guess i'll look it up and try to figure it out on my own or just take it as a loss and just play whatever i can get by with. -
@Dustin_3487 This isn't about being new/good at setting things up. Leaving aside the fact that the RetroPie's license forbids its commercial distribution (see here), did you really think the system you bought has legally licensed those games included ?

All I see is raspberry pi being sold at multiple websites, a lot of them with games pre installed so I figured they were allowed to do it. I dont know about the terms and conditions that go along with it, I just want to play games. It has everything to do with me not knowing any of this which I why I bought it in the first place. None of us have legal rights to the games but we download them anyway

That doesn't mean it's legal. You should just ask for a refund.
