Retroarch per-core remap only saves player1
-
If this has been covered, I couldn't find it.
I'm using RetroPie 3.6 with Retroarch 1.3.0. From within the emulator, say SNES, I open Retroarch and go to the quick menu, core inputs and remap my player 1 and player 2 ABXY buttons. I then click Save Remap File, and it creates an *.rmp file in a subfolder under the emulator config folder. I have Auto Load Remaps turned on, by the way.
If I resume content, both player controllers are mapped properly and work fine.
When I exit the emulator and launch it again, I see the message at the bottom saying it's loading the remap file. Once in the emulator, player1 works fine, but player2 has reverted to original mappings.
If I look at the remap file, it only contains mappings for player1. I thought I'd be smart and clone the settings, changing them to player2. I exited and re-entered the game and, again, player1 is properly mapped. Player2 is not.
I've searched the net for this and only found two references. One conversation the guy said "it's a bug." In another conversation, the respondent said "That's been fixed" and closed the thread.
Is anyone aware of this problem? Does a new version of Retroarch solve the problem? (I've seen v1.3.2 and 1.3.3 are available, but I don't know how to install only Retroarch.)
Your input is appreciated.

It was fixed after RetroPie 3.6 - https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/updating-retropie
you can also manually install stuff from retropie-setup menu 5.

Ok. I didn't realize that option was for updates. I tried the update option in Retroarch, but all it did was load new configuration files which broke my controllers.
I'll give that a shot when I get home this evening. I see that RetroPie 3.7 is out, as well. If the Retroarch update doesn't fix it, I may just go to 3.7 and see what happens.
Thank you.
