      Hello all,

      First time poster.
      Someone please help me.
I have a raspberry pi 3 b+ running retro pie. Everything is working beautifully. I installed selphs scraper and scraped perfectly.
Yesterday I copied everything to a usb drive following this guide:
      https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Running-ROMs-from-a-USB-drive

I used the auto mount tool. Seemed to work perfect.

I added some n64 roms but tried to run the scraper again but it’s saying 0 roms found for that system. Someone help please. What am I doing wrong?

Accessing the pi via winscp I see that the usb drive is in media/usb0. Is this incorrect?

I can play the games from the usb, but just can’t scrape.

@Dthruking Please use a more descriptive subject for your topic (Please help will just be ignored).
Your ROM folders should be in /home/pi/RetroPie/roms, do you have the ROMs there, for instance, under the n64 folder ?

@Dthruking In this case, you haven't followed the instructions in the Docs. Your drive is not correctly mounted - re-do the procedure as described in the Docs and make sure you create the correct folders.

In the tutorial I linked above I did the automatic way it showed. There was nothing else to do besides plug it in and let it copy

So you can play the games but not scrape? How long ago did you install Selph's scraper? If it's been a while have you tried updating the retropie-setup script and then Selphs scraper and running it again?

Everything works fine, just not scraping from the usb

@Dthruking when did you scrape everything when it worked perfectly on your SD Card? Was this a while ago?

I don't ever use the Selph scraper so I don't know all the ins and outs of configuration but you might want to try updating the retropie-setup script and then updating the scraper. I wonder if perhaps when you installed it initially it was pointed to one place and because of the now USB mount it is looking where it won't find anything

It was 6 days ago. It seems as if it’s looking on my sd card but my new roms are on my USB now. If you look at the link above, I use the automatic method. Do I have to manually have to mount it also?

I have used the automatic method several times and had no problems. I'd say that if you are able to play games but not scrape them it is mounted correctly.

If scraping worked with the Selph scraper before you started using the USB Mount but it no longer works I'd say that the issue has come about through the USB mount. But your games play so it's not so much a retropie/emulationstation issue. You can't scrape so it's more than likely a scraper issue. My next step if I were in your shoes would be to poke around in the scraper's configuration to see if there's a way to point it to your mounted drive. If I couldn't find a way around that I would do one of two things:

                          1. Update the scraper (probably the easiest)
                          2. Uninstall the Selph scrape, update the retropie-setup script and reinstall the scraper

If neither of those worked I would find someone that knows more about that particular scraper. I'm really not versed in that particular bit of software at all and don't currently have a build in a state to experiment with it (I'm outta SD cards)
