Error when installing lr-reicast, is there manual sudo command?
-
Hello,
Is there a sudo command to install or download the core manually?
i'm having a problem getting the lr-reicast core installed on my odroid.
I keep getting the following error:Log started at: Fri Jan 18 11:44:44 UTC 2019 RetroPie-Setup version: 4.4.4 (5b8ef5d) System: Linux odroid 3.10.105-141 #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Jul 27 04:03:10 UTC 2017 armv7l armv7l armv7l GNU/Linux = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Installing 'lr-reicast' : Dreamcast emu - Reicast port for libretro = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file tar: Child returned status 1 tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now Error running 'tar -xv -z -C /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-reicast --strip-components 1' - returned 2 Unable to install binary for lr-reicast Log ended at: Fri Jan 18 11:44:45 UTC 2019 Total running time: 0 hours, 0 mins, 1 secs
(srry to ask about odroid here but i had contact with the ORA team through discord but no one could help,
i know this place has much more linux skilled people)
Already done some research and i guess its because an incomplete download (i think), space isn't the issue as i'm still having 65GB free. -
@darky2003 The
lr-reicast
package in RetroPie does not use an archive file - so most likely the script that you've shown is not the version from the RetroPie repository, but one modified by ORA (?). Also, the RetroPie script is not installable on anything ARM based, so this is definitely not something that's part of RetroPie's repository.
For what is worth, I think that the URL where the archive of the emulator build looks to be broken, but can't say for sure without a look at the source. -
Can't support that image as it's a 3rd party one. They should open their own forum really. Not a big fan of it tbh as it's a bit of a hack, and they don't feed back anything to our project.
